My Who I Am Declaration from the last day of “The Character & Nature of God” Week
For full effect, play the recording of me declaring it. Turn your volume up just a tad.
I am a beloved son of the Almighty, the One True God. Once I was blind, born in sin’s captivity - however now I am redeemed. I was bought with a tremendous price. All that is true about me (who I really am) is a gift from God and a reflection of my Father’s nature because I am His son. I am gentle and I am strong. I am a messenger of grace and I am full of authority.
Like my Father, I am a creative, a dreamer, and I celebrate all that is True and good. I am a leader, a servant, a teacher. I teach from experience about the Truth of the Universe because I know him personally and I live in healthy awe of the God I serve; whose great shared (triune) love I am birthed out of.
The overflow of His love pours from my spirit in praise, in words of affirmation, exhortation and encouragement, in works of justice, in fathering the fatherless and caring for the widow.
I am a human being, a person, crafted in the image of the first person - by His hands. I am discovering by His grace the ever-unfolding truth of the beautiful, strong, creative…loved…man of God that I am.
I am affirmed by the very creator of the Universe as Good. Beloved. Chosen.
